Enable DB Authentication for individual employees

On systems that use SAML authentication, you can also enable database (DB) authentication for individual employees.

Before you begin 

SAML authentication must be configured

Procedure 

  1. Go to User Management Module that an administrator uses to create a profile for each employee in their organization.. Under Security, select Usernames.

  2. In the left pane, select one or more employees.

  3. In the right pane, select the DB Authentication check box for each selected user.

    If the right pane shows all employees selected in the left pane, the individual check box is not available. Use the DB Authentication check box in the column header.

  4. Assign a password to each user.

  5. Set the account status of each user.

  6. Select Save.
