Employee access rights
The User Access Rights page lists the assigned roles for each employee.
Roles control access to all functions in the system and define the individual employee access rights. For example, a user assigned the Agent role does not see or use most of the administrative functions that a Manager or Supervisor has access to.

To sign in to the system, each employee must be assigned at least one role.

Each role is created in association with a selected organization. You can only assign roles and privileges to a user that are also available to the organization to which the user belongs.

Each role is made up of a set of privileges; each privilege Permissions associated with each role that define the features of the application a user is able to view and the functionality in the application the user can access. provides access to some type of function.

Each privilege is associated with one or more privilege types; the type determines the scope that can be assigned for a role that includes the privilege.

Most privileges are of the Organization, Group, or Generic type.

With Workforce Management licenses, Scheduling privileges can be of the Campaign scope type. The Activity scope type is given to users who have privileges under Scheduling to edit certain activity types Groups of similar activities not covered by the predefined activity types in Workforce Management (WFM). on the Forecasting and Scheduling calendar.

Privileges related to system administration and installation or configuration can be of the Installation type.
